When Steve Burglund started Great Bear Builders he knew he wanted to build and remodel quality, energy efficient homes in Northwest Montana. He knew the importance of working with professional organizations to build his business and continually educate himself and his crew on new techniques and advances in the building industry. He holds true to this mantra. Through the years, Great Bear Builders has also become very passionate to use their building talents and expertise to help others in Northwest Montana. In working with the Flathead Valley's Agency on Aging and the Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana - Great Bear Builders is making a difference. They are able to help those in need make much needed repairs to their home to make life more comfortable and safe. It is an effort that is very near and dear to the hearts of all the employees at Great Bear Builders. "When we purchased a small two bedroom home in Village Greens, it was the little ugly duckling in a very nice neighborhood. Steve Burglund and his talented crew at Great Bear Builders added on a bedroom/den, an office, a pantry, a huge deck, power awnings, hardwood floors, new siding, new roof, new paint, air conditioning, landscaping and underground sprinklers. With their labor of love they created a beautiful swan. We now have a bold and beautiful “new” house that is the talk of the neighborhood. Thank you Steve and the gang."
